Our charity is dedicated to finding, preserving and restoring one of Canada's most precious habitats -- Garry Oak and associated ecosystems. Working with Parks Canada, we write Action Plans that other groups use to restore habitat. We assist municipalities in writing environmental protection bylaws. One of our most important roles is coordinating the many projects, large and small, so that together with our community partners we use donations efficiently. Of course, we leave the office every chance we get so that we can work in the field, too. The result is more habitat and more protection for species at risk.
