Alberta Dance Academy Parent Association is a not-for-profit organization registered as a Society. It was created in 1997 by the parents of the dancers from Alberta Dance Academy as a way to make dance more affordable for all members of the ADAPA. The ADAPA organizes fundraisers throughout the dance year that anyone with a dancer registered at ADA can take part in. The funds go toward the cost associated with dance. ADAPA retains a portion of all funds raised to pay for medals, trophies, scholarships, subsidizing exam fees (RAD / Al Gilbert), dance workshops, pizza parties, bbq's, give-a-ways, etc.
